This week I'm concentrating on my ears.
Like the British say, "'ear, 'ear!!"
Anyhoo, we can listen to two noises at once! Yes, it does get scrambled sometimes, but having two ears that scan the room, reach out to noises not heard by humans, WE DON'T MISS A THING!
You can tell I'm hearing stuff here cuz my brain wheels are turning as I take it all in and ponder, or maybe ignore, even though my ears are poised at 90 degrees. At 11 years of age, I'm an ear veteran and I've heard it all before. Like here, a real ho-hum. But, maybe, just maybe...you can see I'm trying to decide.
Every once in awhile we hear something out of the ordinary and have to investigate. That's when the fun really begins.
That's right. We hear everything - the good, the bad and the boring - even secrets, but we are everybuddy's best buddy because, you know why?
We never tell!!!
Isn't that right? Unless, of course, we have a blog, then all bets are off...!!

Mom's always laughing at me 'cause I'm the same way. She and dad watch my ears doing their thing independently of each other. I'm not sure why it's so funny.

We are particularly perplexed by the early fireworks here--we would definitely tell *that* if we knew who to meow to!
