This is one of those repeat posts. It's not that it's been seen before, it's...anyway, it's written by the housekeeper who has lately felt neglected. Her brainstorm and a break for me!
Here goes:
I'm told I have a "you've got to be kidding expression" that I engage in quite frequently. For instance, when told.."Tom, you just inherited a million dollars!"
I react:
Then I say: "Okay, when can I have it?"
"Tom, you're descended from a long line of royal cats, diplomatic cats and other cats of distinction."
Now, that one was a hard one to look skeptical about. Okay, I finally gave in and acknowledged such a bloodline.
And, finally,
"Tom, I know this will be a surprise to you: you have a long-lost sister!"
"Right, likely story...where is she? You produce her, and I'll believe you."
As you can see, my skeptical look will never gather dust, I use it so much. In the world of humans, it's best to question; either that, or don't bother, just take a well-deserved nap!

Yeah, Tom...it’s hard to believe any of those things. Well, the bloodline thing...that might be true. :)

But how nice it would be to have a sister...truly. You are lucky to have housemates.....my mommy is all alone now that we have all gone to the rainbow bridge. But she is ever hopeful that someday a wayward stranger might come along. I’ve watched her as she sets out a bowl of snackies for some cat....every morning the bowl is empty.....sigh

Tom the humans never tire of trying to get a rise out of we cats. When will they learn we have so much history that they need another 2000 years to try and cat-ch up. Of course then we will still be ahead by, yep, 2000 years

You've nailed the look, Tom. I have a few of my own favorites, but my best one is when dad thinks he's funny and slings insults at me I just glare at him like "Really? Really, old fatty pants?" You know, that kind of thing...
Tom, I have an "I'm innocent" face I like to use. even f I'm not...like that is even possible..I love what you did with your RU Kidding look.
