Hello, furriends ~
It's a new week and I'm wondering if I'm the only one who has thoughts like "I wonder what this week will bring. What will happen either in my world or everybody else's?"
Anyway, I'm told I'm a deep thinking cat. I just don't want to overdo it or else I'm not a cat anymore. I'll leave the problems of humans to them.
One thing I do have to deal with is my bad eye. The housekeeper has to order more meds for it. Two things are happening: I have a milky eye from a cataract (even though there's the word "cat" in the term, very few cats get this - lucky me!!) and I also have glaucoma, so eye pressure is an issue. Can't get too high or I'll go blind. Good thing I have a good, healthy cat-nose!!
You can kinda see it here in this photo. (I have a better one, but it's a little too graphic)
Now, the other kitties, Bridget and Penny don't have any health issues, but as all cat lovers know, that changes sometimes real fast and gets really scary. I'm the oldest and I have to set an example of how to handle this sort of stuff. Just in case they get sick.
So, a reorder of meds this week, burrito bundles so I don't freak out when the drops hit and usually a meal or treats after. I've kinda gotten used to the routine, but I still don't like it.
Enjoy your Monday as we kick off another week and remember, fellow kitties, we're in all this together.
Meow!

Tom, here's hoping the meds are keeping your eye in good shape, despite the rough handling that you receive during administration.

I'm sorry you have that eye problem but the meds are a good thing!
I agree Tom. It's not nice having to have any sort of meds but we know we have to have them. Being human doesn't make taking them any better so I know how you feel.
Sorry to hear about your eye problems. I am glad you have people who are taking good care of you.
Tom we purr that eye is better or at least manageable. I have had a milky eye since I was a kit but you can only see it now and then when the light is right. Purrs buddy do your best to put the good paw forward
Sending purrayers and Power of the Paw Tom ! Purrs to your caretakers too !
Tom, we sure hope your eye meds keep everything in check. XO
Hope your eye meds help. Kinda sucks getting old, huh? Have yourselves a wonderful weekend nonetheless, okay?
Hi Tom,
