Hi, friends!
I hope you who are spending winter with the rest of us are doing okay. What started out as 1-3 inches turned into a storm watch, then a storm warning..then, the storm! Snow, giant flakes of it, then turning to sleet after dark with high winds! I thought we'd blow away! Weather humans!! Mr. Doppler sure changed his tune in a matter of hours! Went from gentle classical to RAP..rap, get it??
After being without power which meant without heat since everything around here is electric, we're taking in some well-deserved sunshine this morning. But, we can't forget 49 degrees in the living room compared with 45 in the fridge! Anyway we found our way to all the cozy sleeping places and stayed warm and stayed lazy.
The sun is coming in nicely where Penny is sitting. She allowed me visiting privileges earlier, but I didn't stay long.
Hope there's some sunshine in your Monday to help you start the week along with our purrs.
Take care, all!

Egads, no heat!
Hope it didn't last too long, Tom.
We lost power once for five days in March; it got pretty darn cold in the house! However, we have a gas stove, so The Hubby heated huge pasta pots on water, and we used them as radiators. Upstairs, it was change into pajamas FAST and dive under the covers!
RAP, funny! I'm sorry you folks were so cold without power, but glad all worked out OK. And that is great news that Penny let you have visiting privileges ... progress is progress!
Brrrr Humbug, that's awful. I sure hope some warm catches up with you soon. Snuggle in close!
The snow does look pretty through the window, but that is no consolation when you are cold. I hope you soon get your power back.
The outside temperature is 26F but the log burner is roaring indoors.
oh em cod guyz...noe powerz in de winter iz like vizshuz....been ther....we is sorree... N we hope ewe can see and reed thiz post frum a pea sea... coz that meenz then de power and de heetz bak on ~~~~ ♥♥♥
It is a problem to lose power without a fireplace. Must have to hide under a big pile of blankets!
OMC! We hope you get your power back soon...otherwise you might turn into icicles!
Glad you are all OK and did not freeze. When we lose power and heat we all pile onto the couch on top of Dad. We hope you are all getting along and are staying safe
OMC, we hope you've got your power back by now! Forty-nine degrees is just a wee bit chilly, even for those of us with fur coats!
Yikes! We sure hope you got your power (and heat!) back, sweet pals!
Oh no, that's too cold inside. At that point, Mom would be getting creative and heating rocks on the outdoor grill and bringing them inside (without starting anything indoors on fire of course).
Yeah, no, power outages are certainly not fun. We have a fireplace in our new home, so at least the living room will be cozy if we ever lose our power.
Goodness but that sounds chilly.
Stay warm!
We hope your heat came back on quickly.
Back to light classics for you.
