Hi, effurrybody!
What a pain!!
I had everything packed, stored in my jet and friends in place, when not only did they not let us get off the ground (like we even tried), but they wouldn't let us taxi and party.
That's no fun. If you missed the flight, don't feel bad. There aren't going to be any. We all had to come home and now we're stuck, keeping our batty humans from getting even more batty, encouraging cuddles and playtime.
Actually, we can make out quite well with all this. We can re-establish the rules for our minions and confirm our expectations for plenty of playtime and times to snooze. It's a day by day thing, doing our best to all get along.
If getting along is getting stressful, here is the perfect solution:
OBLIVION!! (aka IGNORING IT ALL!!)
What do you think?

- Fr. Tom Fish
- I am Father Tom Fish, esteemed member of the religious team at Temptation of Christ Parish in the novels by author Julie Mackenzie. As to my background, I was invited into the rectory as a stray, laid on the charm, and was invited to stay, even honorarily ordained and no less spiritual than my sidekick Father Will. He dotes on me to high heaven and forgives all of my street cat proclivities, whatever the hell that means.

Time to Get Outta Dodge
Hey, guys!
Can you believe this, my furry friends?
A pandemic? I thought all along it had something to do with the kitchen, frying pans and such. Boy, was I wrong! Humans are crawling all over the place, doing their part to stay in place and not be exposed or pass it along.
It's awful. I don't have a minute's peace and the housekeeper won't keep any of the closets open so I can escape this madness.
I have no choice but to leave, head out to my personal transportation.
Anyone with me?
We won't be flying to any of the hundred and forty-some countries that are in the same boat we're in. We'll probably cruise our local skies, taxi/race down runways, playing tag, and I'll be sure to keep the nip and tinis coming, along with excretory accommodations..I always thought the grass at the airport could use some extra greening, so I'll be sure to make the crew open doors so we can get to romp around!
As you can see, they're loading up my stuff, so you better hurry!
All aboard!

Who IS That Masked Cat? - Having Fun During the Outbreak
Hello and welcome to the world of crazypants and flakyfurs!!
Some people are wearing masks to protect themselves. I say, if you're going to wear a mask, be creative and in some cases, purely practical. We don't even want to see the rest of your face, hahaha!!
Anyway, enough of all that. Here are some masks I've enjoyed putting on, hiding my own face and the virus one just so I can join the party!
Here's my Spidercat mask with matching pipe. Tobacco? Cherry blend with a hint of Corona...!
The beak will keep the virus from spreading, and it would be a hoot to wear!!
And then, there's the plain old white one which I've decorated for St. Patty's Day.
Having fun with masks..who IS that masked cat?

Sunpuddle Mancat!
Hello, Monday meowsers!!
It's getting more and more like sunpuddle time around here!!
One of our favorite things, right? That and catnip, sitting up high, forcing humans to not move when we pretend to be asleep on their laps, and on and on. But, my favorite, really, is the place in the room meant for me with sun streaming in and toasting my furs.
Now, there are times when the sun only catches a part of us. Here's a pic with the sun just on my ear. No place else. Can you believe it? Looks weird, doesn't it!!
Hope there's a sunpuddle waiting for you!

Spring - Pretty Please?
Hi, furry folks!
I'm glad we have four seasons. This way, we don't get bored with Mother Nature and she doesn't get bored with us. The only thing is, when we get anxious for the next season to arrive, it seems to take forever to get here, especially if that season is spring.
But, we're going to make every effort, pull out all the stops to make sure Mother Nature knows we're waiting *tapping paw* so spring arrives as soon as possible.
Here's our first effort:
It's green! I don't think it's a coincidence that this is March's color. St. Paddy's Day, shamrocks and all those things that encourage spring to make her appearance!
I found this in my photo box over the weekend. It really got me thinking of warmer weather. An old pic of Mama Fishworthy (don't I look a lot like her?) in her Easter bonnet! I know it's only six days into Lent, but why not? If it helps spring along, then let's give it a go!
Haha!! Check out the the framed pic of moi she has stuck to it!!
Let's all think spring and those of you who are facing a different season, wish us well in our endeavors to see grass again, flowers bloom and green beer!!
Tom
