Notes from a parish cat and his author Julie Mackenzie

My photo
I am Father Tom Fish, esteemed member of the religious team at Temptation of Christ Parish in the novels by author Julie Mackenzie. As to my background, I was invited into the rectory as a stray, laid on the charm, and was invited to stay, even honorarily ordained and no less spiritual than my sidekick Father Will. He dotes on me to high heaven and forgives all of my street cat proclivities, whatever the hell that means.

Another Crazy Week

Happy Monday!

I know most people are particularly happy since they're off work due to the Sunday 4th of July holiday. The housekeeper is here, however. I asked on bended knee that she take a day off in order to give us peace, but so far has ignored my request.

I'm off to the vet on Thursday for a blood draw. it's just senior privilege, I call it. A royal pain in my leg, too. But, we've got to figure out why my street ways are getting the better of me. I'm nipping, chasing Bridget and generally find myself bored. Could be something with my innards.

Have a good day and week, my friends. I'll leave you with one of my fluffier selfies!

Tom, we hope there is nothing out of the ordinary with your bloodwork; you're just having a second kittenhood.

Tom, we're sorry for those tests, but hope the vet can figure out what's ailing you. XO

Hopefully the vet visit isn't too stressful and you get some useful information to help you feel better. Sending purrs.

Sweet boy, I hope all is well with the Vet visit, don't go and give the housekeeper too much trouble, peeps find vet visits just as stressful as kitties do.

Oh dear, we hope everything's okay with your innards, outtards and otherwise, Tom. Keep us posted, of course.
