Notes from a parish cat and his author Julie Mackenzie

My photo
I am Father Tom Fish, esteemed member of the religious team at Temptation of Christ Parish in the novels by author Julie Mackenzie. As to my background, I was invited into the rectory as a stray, laid on the charm, and was invited to stay, even honorarily ordained and no less spiritual than my sidekick Father Will. He dotes on me to high heaven and forgives all of my street cat proclivities, whatever the hell that means.

Coat of Many Colors

Hello, friends!

One day I decided I would try to count all the different colors in Bridget's fur. After about a dozen colors and patterns, I finally had to give up. I have never known anyone, man or beastie, with so many different--I dunno, stripes, colors, splotches, patterns..Her genes must have gone crazy pants! You would definitely think so if you saw her mother. She was just black and white!

Here are a few photos that show off her furs..

And now, boys and girls, a little cheesecake!!

Surprise!!

All those colors got stopped at the border! An all-white chest and tum-tum!

She's unique, that's for sure and as sweet as can be, most of the time. I do pick on her mercilessly, but that's just me. She always accepts my apology and comes in for a cuddle.

Have a good week, efurrybody!

She does have lots of colours. She has feet to match her white belly too.
