Notes from a parish cat and his author Julie Mackenzie

My photo
I am Father Tom Fish, esteemed member of the religious team at Temptation of Christ Parish in the novels by author Julie Mackenzie. As to my background, I was invited into the rectory as a stray, laid on the charm, and was invited to stay, even honorarily ordained and no less spiritual than my sidekick Father Will. He dotes on me to high heaven and forgives all of my street cat proclivities, whatever the hell that means.

Learning a New Word!

Hi, there!

I like words and I found a NEW ONE!!

For a cat, I am purrty good at putting words together, especially on my blog.

I'll bet you're curious as to what word I'm talking about.

It's----- *drumroll*----- CAT-CENTRIC.

It means focuses exclusively on cats. How about that! What's not to love?

Between you and me, I think cat-centric is just a fancy way of saying how humans show their love for cats, from fairy tales to capturing us doing what cats do. We're also part of those sweet memories that are held so dear.

Now, I'm going to take my cue from my friend here (I know, we could be twins!) and catch up on my rest:

Take care, friends. We love you! .Zzzzz.....

Tom

Cat-Centric is a very good word. I like the picture of Puss in Boots with his mouse.

Tom, I think you should get t-shirts printed up with "Cat-Centric" on them...you'll make a million!

Mom's a convert, but dad's been cat-centric for all his decades he's been alive.
