I found myself thinking of summer and what a good one it was for window whiffies and sunshine and little bugs that came to say hello, knowing I'm just an old softie, not about to bother them. They know it, too! Even at night when the moths come around, I just watch and wonder why the light draws them so, but then, maybe it's like us with the sun. Good thing we can't get too close!
Anyway, back to summer and those good memories! This was a particularly fine day. There was just the right amount of breeze, my furs warmed up real nice and a ladybug was telling me all about her grandbugs..okay, maybe not..

Those were the days-the lazy crazy days of summer! How quickly it seems to have disappeared--quicker in some places than in others, we reckon. We are still lounging on the windowsills when the sun is out, but no longer are the windows open. . . .
Our summertime was hot, hot, hot and so was the first weeks of fall. Have a whiffin' good time!

we aren't fans of summer here (but I LOVE your photo!) we are HUGE fans of Fall though!
To be honest, Tom, we much prefer any other season! It gets way too hot here.
I thought summer was too hot and humid. I prefer this fall weather.
We miss summer, too, Tom. Though Gracie and Ava are getting more snuggles with the arrival of the cooler temps.:)
My summer was enjoyable. A few heat waves, many beautiful days, and lots of love.
We love that window pose. Yeah, summer's passing here too, but I'm staying plenty warm with mom and dad's laps and the fleece they keep on the chair. Have an awesome weekend!
I am missing summer. The early part was hotter than usual, much hotter. but it is pay back time now and we are having day after day of continuous heavy rain.
