With Thanksgiving this week, you would think a tornado hit the rectory. We have turkeys coming out of our
I've always had this thing about hiding and secrets. A cat doesn't like secrets. Humans have to understand that closed doors make us nuts, strange noises or smells are unsettling and not to know what's freshly purchased in an obvious department store bag is the ultimate exercise in teasing.
So, if there are going to be Christmas purchases, let them remain hidden for the sake of my sanity, please!

When you go into a store right after Halloween and they have Christmas stuff up it's sad. It's still hot outside and they have Christmas stuff up. On holiday at a time please.
Thanks for linking to Happy Tuesday. 😎
Tom, calm down my boy!
All will be revealed in time, and cats CAN be patient, like sitting at a mouse hole...waiting...
Here's hoping that you are allowed some succulent morsels of turkey meat!
Have you ever purchased some Christmas gifts early, put them away, and forgot about them for a few years? Yes yes yes! Need to keep the cat informed where they are hidden so at least someone knows! Right Tom?
I am sure they will be well hidden. Just don't go hunting them down!
Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving, Tom!
We has a whole lot of bags and boxes around here these days too. The mom bean keeps them in her closet (mostly) and closes the doors so we can't get in.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Tom, we’re with you. We don’t like secrets or closed doors or hidden stuff.
Is she teasing you, Tom? What would CK do? Bite her, of course.
We're the same way about secrets, closed doors and hidden stuff, Tom. We hope you and your housekeeper had a marvelous Thanksgiving!
