Heartbreak Hotel

After we all had some time to ourselves last week, we thought we'd get back on track with the latest from our in-house romeo.

If you recall, Big Puss aka Tinker has been besmitten by the gorgeous vision of our star female, Anastasia.

Ah..those eyes..like emeralds. ::Ahem:: Anyway, true to her name, she is elegant (sleeps most of the time--we must find her a chaise to do her justice), beautiful (in a fluffed-up, royal sort of way) and perceptive (ready with a warning growl should our lovestruck feline decide to be amorous).

We were really hard-pressed to capture an example of the over-the-top infatuation on the part of our giant teddy bear, but Mom Julie eventually did, and this is how it went:

Neither party makes a move, silently patient, saying more with eyes than with words. I think it's more the lady saying, "Go ahead, make my day."

Personally, I didn't see the point in this never ending eye-lock on the part of the two lovebirds. Besides, I was dying of thirst.

Of course, I knew I would be blocking the view of our Casanova which was my intention. Once one couldn't see the other, they visibly relaxed. (although I think the Big Puss was cussing me out)

"Hurry the hell up, you fool."

As we all know, all good drinks must come to an end. Satisfied, I backed away from the water and let them resume their love stares.

Now, my furriends, you know what I have to put up with, just evidence of how some smokin' hot hormones are in a place no scalpel will ever reach.
