Dear Furriends ~
There's no doubt that whether it's our blogs or other social media venues, we get closer to some furriends more than others. I've never really thought about why that's so. It just happens. All of you who regularly visit, we consider precious furriends and we know we can count on you to stop by and say hello..
We lost one of our furriends this week to the big "C." What the heck is taking so long to figure out how to handle the devastating bugger? Two of our own family members - Anastasia and Tinker - both went to the Bridge after wrangling with the deadly disease.
Now, we've lost our furriend Paddy O'Malley from https://eastsidecats.blogspot.com It was a post about Irish eyes smiling. We thought Paddy's eyes were always smiling. His presence in our cat community brightened all our days.

paddy....we lovez ewe buddy ~
Tom we sure miss PO'M too. We are glad he did get a chance to come in and lift the heart of his Mom before he was called home to the Bridge. That damn C touches too many dear friend
That's just heartbreaking. We are so sad that Paddy was needed at the Bridge.
The world is a smaller place
Paddy's sudden passing was a shock. We've also lost several kitties to cancer. One was not even 9 years old. Maybe some day they'll find more treatment options and cures.
We, too, were heartbroken at this news. So sad.
I was so sad when I heard. Just when he had become an inside cat too. Life is so cruel.
