Notes from a parish cat and his author Julie Mackenzie

My photo
I am Father Tom Fish, esteemed member of the religious team at Temptation of Christ Parish in the novels by author Julie Mackenzie. As to my background, I was invited into the rectory as a stray, laid on the charm, and was invited to stay, even honorarily ordained and no less spiritual than my sidekick Father Will. He dotes on me to high heaven and forgives all of my street cat proclivities, whatever the hell that means.

Up, Up and Away!!

That wasn't meant to scare you, it was in chorus with everybody else who's responding to that jerk in the back of the room who yelled, "Don't be ridiculous!!"

Taking umbrage..I always thought that word meant something to eat for breakfast..anyway, the man was scoffing at the thought that I would actually have my own plane. What's so ridiculous about that?
Here it is, Mr. Doubtful!!

It's my understanding that my plane will hold baggage and comfortably seat up to fifty kitties with a crew of ten for your every airborne need.

You are all invited, but first, you have to tell me your dream destination and if you're bringing your peeps. Once we all agree and the baggage is loaded, I'll tell the pilot. Niptinis all around for a special salud at the beginning of our trip. We'll be gone a week and there's plenty of food and snacks for everybody.

Don't forget, in your comments tell me your dream destination and I'll work out the rest..

Now back to our regularly scheduled program..

How cool, any beach with lots of sand will do!

We thought WE had lots of people waiting upon us--look at all the vehicles! Nice not to have to ride in the baggage compartment drugged with the luggage! Dream destination: Scotland. Think we could charter your jet?

Love it! How about anywhere with temperate weather and friendly cat policies.

LOL! Rock on, Tom!
Da Boyz would say that their dream destination is the backyard, but they don't need a airplane for that!
But, Brian's comment above makes me think that all cats would like to visit the biggest sandbox in the world, so that would be The Sahara!

Wow, that is really nifty. It's just me these days, but I'd go to Scotland, I think, if I could.

We're with Brian! Our mom doesn't fly, though, so it will be just us.

I'm good. I don't fly, just like the peeps.

I hope your plane is not an April Fool, Father Tom, because I know my boys would have loved the beaches of the Hawaiian Islands.
Even though the boys are no longer here, I carry them in my heart so would love to join you on your flight.

We'll go with a nice warm and sunny beach with sunpuddles to relax in and some good bird TV. :)

Yep, another vote here for Brian above, of course we're a mere 40 or so minutes from a decent beach. Beach aside, mom and dad would love to be able to move their dream vacation to Ireland up a bit to the more near future than when it will likely be.

I'd like to go to Hawaii too. I am already wearing my's white to show off my black furs.
