Forget paw-lates.
Our Anastasia has busted her buttons from all the good life weight she's gained. What makes it worse is she's not one to exercise or play. We couldn't get her interested in chasing a flashy ball, nom anything catnip, or chase mousies...
UNTIL
Mr. Snakey!
Desperate to get her interested in something, Mom Julie had a toy fishing rod lying around and attached an old collar to it. It had a bell, so it made noise as she swung it around Anastasia's head and..
She went crazy!
She just had to get him, over and over again!
Everything was going so well--then..
Oh, no!
She stopped.
Flat-out, I'm done, don't-bother-me-I'm eating-now, finished.
Can you believe it?
She says she worked up an appetite!
Let me have at that bad boy!
Hope you have a happy, toy-filled weekend!

Awwww...she's a cute fluffer nutter! :)
Anastasia try moving about when you're playing run about some and fetch your toys out - someone else will put them away while you have a snack and a snooze.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
oh Anastasi... hopefully you will feel the need to kill Mr. Snake again soon.
Awwww amazing and wonderful Anastasia!! You did ever so well playing with your fab toy!! Enjoy your yummy treats!! Take care

At least there is a million or so toys out there for you to try yet! Have a great weekend everyone!
that is a great toy!!! If Anastasia need exercise, maybe Mitty can sign up to chase her around the house a couple of times per day. :)
Well we can only play for so long and then we're onto a new adventure. Maybe next time she'll play longer—if there IS a next time! MOL
Ooo, Mr. Snakey toys are our best fun ever! Those big eyes, the swift whapping paw. Anastasia looks to make mincemeat of Mr. Snakey!
Have a whapping good weekend!
How creative of Mom Julie! And it paid off. :)
Looks like she earned her snack!
Your pal, Pip
You go girl! Get that Mr. Snakey! He's no match for you!
At least she did play some before chowing down again, MOL. She is a big gal, but so cute. I have a hard time getting my cats to play, too.
We Mancats like our gals fa-...erm...floofy!
Sometimes its the simplest toys that get them moving! an old collar Mr. Snakey sounds great!
My human WISHES that my playing would work up an appetite. But I'm still the pickiest eater here.
The intense look of concentration on your pretty face shows you were working hard Miss A.
Julie sure had an inspiration!
MOL, that's just like our Sami girl. She prefers to watch over playing, and is easily distracted by food!
Sami says, sure you dorks go ahead and play and I'll get the yummies.
Sasha, Sami, & Saku (Mom Eileen)
You'll kill it next time, Anastasia!!!
Katie lasts about 30 seconds for round one.
About 15 seconds for round two.
And round three happens only from a laying down position!

That does look like a really fun toy. We would probably like that one too. But you know when it is time to eat, it just is time. Have a great week end.
You just never know what "toy" will do the trick. Kitties like to be mysterious.
Oh beautiful Anastasia, I love pictures of her playing with Mr. Snakey. My Niko is kind of like her, he doesn't play much and when he does, he gets bored soon. We need to keep inventing new toys!
Yes, I know well the chubby cat who won't exercise. My Josie fits that mold - just barely, because she's too big for it.
You guys need to get a Da Bird!
How sweet! And we bet she was ready for a nap too!
Our Grace Lillian is getting a bit large, she does her best playing while in the reclined position just like Anastasia.
I think dignified lady cats don't leap...

That snakie sure looks fun Anastasia, but we're sort of partial to food, too.
Oh, she must be famished after that workout!
Tee...heh..heh..Me the same, food come first ; )

Anatasia knew she worked up a sweat! Being so beautiful then playing like that--my goodness, I'm told--can take such a toll!
