Hi, friends,
Coming right up is a big day around here since it's St. Paddy's and the wearing of the green. I'm sure glad we didn't decide to celebrate the day by Adopt-A-Snake, remembering our blessed saint and his driving the slitheries out of Ireland! I'll wear green, hey, no prob!
But, what I like best is something really special that I hear this time of year, and I want to share it with you:
Best wishes, enjoy your nibbles of corned beef or ham, and know your buddy Tom is available to tip, I mean nip... a few!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, such a nice blessing!
ReplyDeleteTom, there is another Irish blessing, that goes something like this:
ReplyDeleteMay you be in Heaven five minutes before The Devil knows you're dead!
Hahahahahaha!
Always loved the Irish saying....wonderful graphic!
ReplyDeleteSome time back I looked up that Irish heritage is the largest heritage in the USA, but that was some years back. I have a great grandmother (O'Hara) from County Cork. Subject change: I wonder about those bright GREEN snakes--what are they celebrating?
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day Tom, Bridget and Housekeeper! I've put that blessing on my blog too, scheduled to run on Wednesday - I absolutely love that blessing. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get plenty of the green nippy brew, Tom.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah....leave the snakes out of this! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Paddy's Day!
ReplyDeleteLovely Irish Blessing. A slightly early Happy St. Pat's Day to y'all. Mom's real proud of her Irish heritage, and dad's got a bit o' Irish in him as well. They both love a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner, but dad would be just as happy with a mug or two or three of green beer.
ReplyDeleteWe love that blessing, Tom. Happy ST. Patrick's Day to you!
ReplyDeleteThat is one of our favorites too Tom. Thanks and we will tip a bit of Green Nip
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patrick's Day all of you. XX
