2013: The Year of the...

If each New Year had a face or a cat part, what would this year's be?

How 'bout we make it the Year of the Paw

Tinker's paws look beautiful in the sunlight.

It can be an outstretched paw to indicate generosity

Tom, the good Lord was quite generous when it came to your paws, hon.

A paw ready for playfulness

Mitty, those are punching bag paws!

Or a paw always in the right place at the right time


Where is your paw?

That reminds me of the joke about the cat who walked into a bar and asked if anyone had seen the man who shot his paw..

Of course, it goes without saying that if the year gets a little rambunctious, the paw has a claw, or two or three and the perpetrator will be dealt with accordingly, and bad jokesters will be pawnished.

A quick comment on our money tree idea. Some of you mentioned you'd like to be around at harvest time. Mmmm...we'll have to see how well the tree bears fruit--whether it will be paper Jacksons or itty bitty Lincoln pennies.

    We LOVE the idea of The Year Of The Paw.
    I've been exercising mine A LOT with the orange maniac kitten around. In the townhouse, I think it should be The Year Of MY Paw!
