I have a blog where I get to play around with stuff, part imagination and part fact, tell jokes and give my commentary. This week, something came up that was a complete surprise.
Here is a typical cat cube in a nice, fishy shade of blue, complete with dangling thingie inside. I really have no use for something like this. For an eavesdropping parish cat like me, I would miss way too much!
What I could use is a couch. Everybody else has one, but not me. I decided with a little effort (like jumping up and down on it), I could morph the cube into something useful.
It was time to give my creation a try and, lo and behold, it was very comfy, even if I'm hanging off a bit.
I love it, especially since Mary Lou put a cute penguin nip pillow on it and Father Will added the doily.
Home, sweet home!

Wow - that is high-class designer furniture pal. ummm, you do hand out quite a bit tho. Maybe taking over the ooomans bed would be a better idea.
ReplyDeleteThat is so very creative and darn smart!!! Hey, you might just start a new trend!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't realise you were a furniture specialist Tom - what an excellent design and we are sure you will get many commissions.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
OH my goodness... this is really lovely, and well, pretty classy too. I think you just might set off a trend in convertible furniture - this one is a gem
ReplyDeletebonks to your brilliance

Wow, Tom! I am super impressed..you are one creative kitty! I think you should put those on the market..you could be the next great cat furniture designer! And I will say I knew you way back when..! :) Happy Caturday!
ReplyDeleteYou are VERY creative, Tom! The convertible cube :) We hope you aren't offended by the dog analogy, but we are reminded of Snoopy sleeping on top of his dog house :D
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your couch.

Tom, we see a HUGE future for you at IKEA, doing a Cat furniture line.
ReplyDeleteWho knows...maybe even your own TV show, "The Designin' Feline"!
We have a cube that can be turned into a bed - it's actually built to do that. It looks like you had to improvise here, Tom.
ReplyDeleteMom gives me my methimezole for my hyper thyroidism by gel pen inside the ear flap in my right ear and in my left ear she has just begun applying the prescribed steroid medicine for my hyper calcimia. So both ears are annointed with gel meds each day.
ReplyDeleteOh Tom, you are creative!! Nip pillow makes your couch even better :-) I love fish print, too!
ReplyDeleteYou are very creative, Tom! We wonder if we could do that to our cube (we have one like yours...different colors though...and we hardly use it either).
ReplyDeleteSo creative, and so resourceful, Tom! Great job with the cube re-design. :)
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and Julie!
Hi Tom
ReplyDeleteYou're such a clever boy. What a nice cube you've got... Noah is a bit jealous because at the moment he has to share his office chair with me :o).
Oh if only you and Julie could send us a bit of the rain. Our garden really needs rain and it seems far far away.
Have a nice time in your cube and greetings to Julie
Alex
Very impressive!!

Wonderful job, Tom, on getting what you want. It looks very comfy and a little hangover won't be too bad.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has their own style. You enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOh what a nice bed Tom. I wish you were at my Church! You make things interesting.
ReplyDeleteI slept on my couch again today..much more comfortably, I might add since we realized it was actually upside down in the pictures, so I didn't have as much leg room. (Sheesh!) Those of you who have cubes and want to convert them, have fun!
ReplyDeleteHugs and nosetaps,
Tom
+xoxo+(it's Holy Week)
