I am living a life without chocolate. Easter bunnies come in dark, regular and white chocolate. I always get a basket with a bunny in it, but nothing I could sinfully crave.
Mary Lou will give me whipped cream, ice cream, cream cheese, Baileys Irish Cream (hehe, just kidding) and just plain light cream. I eat cheese sprinkled, crumbled, chopped, petrified yet still good and on very rare occasions, attached to traps and dead mice. I wonder if the little guys have a Rainbow Bridge..?
Anyway, so what do I crave? Something you can't put in a wrapper, shape like a bunny or kiss, or melt with marshmallows. It's the sun, especially this time of year. It turns my purrs into a melody each and every time. I will go out of my way to find a sunspot, wallow in the puddle of it and snooze, enjoying wonderful dreams.
Of eating chocolate.
Happy Easter everyone! May there be sunshine whenever you crave it.

We prefer Temptations...but the mom is craving chocolate!

We love the sun too Tom but our most favourite thing is freshly cooked warm chicken - we don't turn our noses up at cold chicken either!! We also like ham and cheese. Mum is much naughtier as she likes wine and mars bars!!

Tom, you are so handsome. We have never had chocolate, so luckily we don't crave it. Now our Mom will eat the dickens out of chocolate. We hope you and all of your family have a super Easter Tom. Take care.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad gave up chocolate for lent and now it looks like it is for good. I miss the smell of chocolate! Happy Easter everyone!!!
ReplyDeleteTom I love seeing pictures of you. You are so handsome!!
ReplyDeleteHAM! We love ham. -and sun. no sun here today though.

Sunshine is a very good choice, especially in your line of work. May you always have the sun in your heart. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI crave anything and everything (except chocolate, of course). Peanut butter is a nice substitute for chocolate - as our chips and cookies and cheerios!

"We love the sun and all the rest, but the chocolate, we are told, is NOT something a kitty should ever eat. That seems to make it all the more interesting. I wonder ...."
Ah, sunshine and forbidden dreams...a Cat's life, indeed.
ReplyDeleteThe Baby scarfed down quite a bit of Mommy's choclate fudge truffle last night. She has always loved sweets, and Mommy made the mistake of leaving her treat unattended, heh heh.
I had Easter chicken last night!
ReplyDeleteWE love sunpuddles but the best part of Easter for us is the HAM!!

No chocolate for us, either. But hopefully, mom and dad will give us a few extra snacks! :)

I love ice cream. I can have it for every meal...mmm. But sunshine is really great to have. I wish you a very Happy Easter!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Father Tom.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Kittens 'n Things.
Hmmm, let's see what "The Boys" like. Not chocolate, although Chuck does. "The Boys" do line up for Hy-Vee (grocery store) fried chicken, and steak!
We're waiting for sun puddles warm enough that "The Boys" can spend some time on the front porch.
P.S. You are a mighty handsome mancat! Love your markings!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you too, Father Tom!!
ReplyDelete(((((((HUGGGGSSSS))))) from your TX furiends,
Well, another stomach-stuffing holiday has gone by the boards and, I must say, it was a lovely one. (Is it still called a four-course meal when a cat gets to eat out of four dishes all at once?)
ReplyDeleteSo again, we hope everyone has a safe and sound week ahead. Our thoughts are with you and you know you can always count on us for those purrs and prayers.
Hugs,
Tom

Happy Easter, Father Tom! "May there be sunshine whenever you crave it." - Such a beautiful quote! Thank you! ♥
ReplyDeleteSunshine is perfect for cats. That leaves all the chocolate for the people. You wouldn't like it anyway -- it's so messy!
ReplyDeleteDear Father Tom... can you let us know about the email we sent today (Thurss 4/28)... THANKS!
