You know, furriends, this has been one of those stretches in time that leaves us feeling empty and not a little heartsick. So many close to us have gone off to the Bridge.
Being Memorial Day weekend and all, we want to remember everyone who has been a part of our lives and accepted their mission on Earth with love, affection and courage.
Have a safe and very special holiday weekend.
Love,
Tom, Mom Julie, Mitty, Anastasia, Tinker and our own special angels xx
We hope you all have a safe weekend, one that has at least a few small "happys" in it.
ReplyDeleteThat cartoon makes me cry, Julie.
Peace.
Thanks for this message...
ReplyDelete...tomorrow is 15 years since I lost my mom to cancer.... but on the bright side, my oldest cat is 15 this year and was just a tiny kitten who joined my family on that same year.
He's my fuzzy silver lining :)
It's funny but Mum had to smile at your post - she has been thinking of one of her "before us" cats lots this week!" She says you are a mind reader Tom.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
good things to remember - that is the greeting I want someday! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the cartoon. It's very funny - but it gives us all something to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteThe cartoon is sad but very sweet. I wish you a safe and special weekend, too.
ReplyDeleteWe have missed you! Enjoy the holiday weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Have a great weekend too!
ReplyDeleteNo one could have brought it all home better than you, Father Tom. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a nice Memorial Weekend and that there are some bright spots. =^..^=
ReplyDeleteThe cartoon made me smile and I can't wait to have my babies meet me one day by and by.
ReplyDeleteLove and huggles to all of you.
Of course we could never forget you. Have a happy and safe Memorial Day!
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a weekend of remembrance. Although I wish right now that there weren't so many kitties to remember...
ReplyDeleteVery beautifully said. Way too many lately.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that, Father Tom. Memorial Day is for remembering those that we love who are no longer with us.
ReplyDeleteWe've seen that cartoon before and it brought both a smile and a tear to our mom's eyes.

I can't help it but the cartoon made me smile because one day, I will be reunited with all my loved ones. And that would be for eternity. :)
ReplyDeleteI look forward to heaven, because I know there's going to be a wonderful welcome for me from all the creatures I've loved before.
ReplyDeleteThis brought both tears to my eyes and joy to my heart.
ReplyDeleteIt has been such a sad time. We are remembering all those that have gone to the bridge. Happy Memorial day to all of you too. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh what a great cartoon. I hope the Bridge/Human Heaven (which I think are the same place) will be EXACTLY like this! Thank you for posting it. Purrs.
